Welcome to my practice. I create a relaxed, safe and supportive space in person or online to explore life's difficulties. I support adults and young people dealing with challenging experiences past or present, complicated relationships, difficulties in school, college, university or work, or negative thoughts and emotions, I’m here to help you find some peace and clarity. I welcome self funding clients and am a registered provider for BUPA. I am an accredited member of the NCPS and registered member of BACP.

We live in a complex, busy, changing world. There are many different types of experiences and relationships that impact our view of ourselves, others and the world. Sometimes we get on with life, sometimes we know life could be easier, and sometimes we are stopped in our tracks.I work within a framework of understanding that makes the most sense to you. I stay alongside you without judgement, allowing space to explore difficult experiences, loss, relationships or thought patterns. This enables reflection, understanding, self-compassion and can bring new meaning and healing to experiences and relationships.

About Me

I have worked as an integrative counsellor providing counselling, psychotherapy since 2013 and clinical supervisor since 2019. I offer both long and short term therapy bringing together aspects of the three main branches of counselling theory – Humanistic, Psychodynamics and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, integrating them into an approach that is flexible and tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual.

As well as verbal communication we can use creative materials to express or explore thoughts and feelings such as sand tray, imagery, metaphor, modelling clay and art etc. I believe exploring, either verbally or creatively can bring about understanding and acceptance, helping to heal and move through current difficulties.

I welcome adults and young people aged 12 and over who are either self funding or those referred through BUPA. If you are self funding please see the Location and Fees page for further details. If you have a BUPA policy I am a registered provider who can provide sessions through your plan. Please get in touch for more information and send your pre-authorisation code with your enquiry to organise sessions
